The Northwest Skim Tour was created to help promote and support skimboarding contests in the Pacific Northwest.

We hope to help raise awarness of skimboarding to the greater Northwest area, while helping create more sponsorship opportunities for local contest promoters.

At this point the NWS Tour servers as a promotional tool for contest organizers. Whenever a company sponsors a local contest we will place their logo on this Web site as an added bonus. Also, in partnership with Skimboard Culture a free sponsoship ad will be placed on skimboardculture.com for a month before and after the contest.

Washington State has the wide open Pacific Ocean with plenty of wave and flatland options. Inland there is the Puget Sound that provides flatland skim for days. As the tide fluctuates new perfect tide pools appear.

Washington thousands of places to skim. These are some of the more popular locations to skim.
