We sat down to do a brief interview with B.C. Canada and Zed Skimboards team rider Anna Penn.

Anna has been killing it lately, winning the women’s division at 2011 Zed Island Skim Jam, which was the first stop on the NorthWest SkimTour. Check out some of the shots of her in the comp video.

8 ) Plans for flatland skimboaring in 2011: Travel a lot more to competitions and find more sweet skim spots

9) Other boardsports that influence your skimboarding: Does skiing count??? If not, just longboarding

10) Favorite rider ….. and why: Brandon Wright, He’s the man, we have the same stomping grounds and he gets skimboarding recognized all over the place.

11) Hottest girl on a skimboard: Lexi Hutchings (Editor’s note: Anna may be the top spot)

13) Who’s style influences you the most…. and why: I don’t think anyone’s style really influences the most, I kinda just do my own thing and hope for the best

14) If you could travel any place to skim, where would it be and why: Bali, I’ve heard its like paradise. Who wouldn’t wanna skim in paradise?

15) What do you think you can do to help push flatland skimboarding to the next level: Just keep progressing and try and get more girls into the sport.
